Weekdays: Visitors may visit the Giant Panda House without drawing panda-visiting tickets on weekdays.
Weekends and Holidays: Visitors who plan to meet giant panda Yuan Zai, Yuan Yuan and Tuan Tuan should draw a panda-visiting ticket at Taipei Zoo entrance, and then visit Panda House at the time shown on the drawn ticket.
Opening Times:
- Taipei Zoo opens year round ever day (except for Chinese New Year's eve, 7th February 2016.)
- Zoo Hours: 9:00 - 17:00 (no entry or purchasing tickets after 16:00.)
- Opening time of Panda House: 9:10 – 17:10
- Panda House is closed during "Every First Monday Of The Month."
Visiting Rules on Weekends and Holidays:
- Visiting Capacity of Panda House: 400 people are allowed to enter Panda House every 10 minutes. The maximum capacity of a day is 19,200 people.
- Please draw panda-visiting tickets at the zoo entrance. The panda-visiting tickets are for free.
- Please check the panda-visiting time on the ticket drawn and arrive at the Panda House 10 minutes ahead of the indicated time.
- For the individuals that miss the indicated visiting time, please line up in a specified zone with the drawn tickets; the staff of Panda House will check the on-site situation and arrange your visiting.
- In order to reduce the disturbance to the giant panda family and other visitors, please reduce the volume of voice while visiting.
