Taiwan-Germany Conservation Cooperation –Siamang’s 5 Consecutive Wins

Germany sent over one male Siamang as the companion for Taipei Zoo’s Chang-Hou In 1998, and ever since the couple met, there’s been nothing but good news one after another. The Taipei Zoo wishes to conduct further exchanges and cooperation with other countries, thus adding more blood relations to the sole Siamang family of our country. The 38-year old Chang-Hou and 42-year old “Tai Shan” have expanded their family size by adding five babies in ten years. The zoo keepers are taking exceptional good care of Taiwan’s one-and-only Siamang family, and spare no efforts contacting other countries, hoping to find mates for all of their children too.
