    • There are 6 water fountains offering warm and cold water in the zoo for breast-feeding mothers and all visitors.
    • There are other 9 water fountains offering hot, warm and cold water.

    • Currently there are two nursing rooms inside the zoo. One is located inside the Nursing Station at the Visitor Center, the other at the shop by the Amphibian and Reptile House entrance.
    • There are diaper changing tables at all accessible restrooms at the zoo.

    There are a total of 22 public restrooms at the zoo. All are equipped for the disabled.

    • From the veterinary and epidemiological point of view, it is necessary to control animals from the outside to prevent occurrence of epidemic diseases when there’s a large number of animal groups and visitors circulating frequently.
    • The understanding and support of visitors are expected. Do not smuggle pets inside the zoo in handbags or backpacks.

    • Commonly called “wu-wei-ah” or “ou-wei-ah” in Taiwanese or “Little King Kong”, these little black mosquitoes are not mosquitoes. The imago is about 1.5mm.
    • As the zoo covers a large ground and is in the mountain area, summer is the most active period for little black mosquitoes.
    • Aside from regular environmental disinfection, bug repellants are available for visitor use at the stroller rental, souvenir service and shops (the Education Center Boutique, Buffalo Shop, carts, Koala Shop, Bug Stop, Owl Shop, Tiger Shop, Camel Shop, Hippo Shop, Penguin Station, Raccoon Shop, Bird World Coffee, Frog Shop)
    • Long-sleeve clothing and long pants are suggested when visiting the zoo in the summer to avoid bites from black mosquitos.

    • Please contact (or visit in person) the Visitor Center using telephone at nearby shops, stating the name, brand, color and other details of the lost item along with contact information. The Visitor Center will broadcast and assist with the search.
    • Please inquire search results at the Visitor Center before leaving the zoo. If the lost item is not found, make sure your contact information is recorded for future notification.

    • 2023-03-03

    • The item can be turned in to a nearby shop staff, who will notify security officers to transfer the item to the Visitor Center for broadcast, or contact the owner for pickup.
    • You can also turn in the item to the Visitor Center and fill out related information or an anonymous record (When the item found is not claimed after six months of public notice required by law, the finder will be notified to retrieve the item.)

    • Fountain exhibition dates are July and August of every year, at hour interval from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • 30 minutes each time. (actual operation may be adjusted as necessary)
    • All visitors are welcome. Please keep an eye on accompanying children and one’s own safety.
