Zoo Regulation

We suggest for your visit, wear long sleeves, pants, and a comfortable pair of walking shoes. Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and insect repellent to prevent sunburn and bug bites.


Diapers, sanitary pads, heat packs, patches, and hot water are available at the First Aid Station near the main entrance. Visitors may request or borrow these items as needed. Please feel free to ask the medical staff for assistance.


Please follow the rules below:

  • No smoking. (Violators will be fined up to NT$10,000.)
  • No pet. All pets are prohibited from the Zoo to protect both the Zoo animals and your animals.
  • Do not carry balloons, bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards or any items that could injure animals or people into the zoo.
  • Harassment, abuse, or harm to animals is prohibited, including feeding, touching, and tapping on enclosure glass.
  • Do not fence climbing over/into exhibitions.
  • Do not crossing over/into restricted areas and shuttle tracks/routes.
  • Do not disturb or interfere others’ benefits and causing bad experience.
  • No food/drink at indoor areas.
  • No flash photography inside indoor areas and Habitat Corridors & Other Conservation Linkages.
  • UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) is not allowed.
  • Commercial activities is not allowed.

Visitors who ignore warnings after engaging in prohibited acts may be expelled immediately, denied re-entry on the same day, and reported to authorities in accordance with the law.
